Okay. Today I’m going to explain you a very important rule in sales. Before that let me tell you one thing. Few months back, I went to a marriage and I was wondering how they estimated the number of people that would be visiting the marriage. I went to the chef to enquire myself; He said any marriage on average has 500 participants, 250 from bride’s side and 250 from groom’s side. Then after few days I went to a funeral, and eventually happened to check the register over there and found out that there were 250 people signed in it. What does this mean? Couldn’t connect the dots? Think again, it means every person (It really doesn’t mean whether you are in India, America or Australia) have roughly 250 people in their contact list. Okay let’s see how to connect this 250 rule to management strategy. When you make a Good sale, people will talk about you and boast about how they got the best sale at least to 250 people (got the law I was talking about?) and now the inverse is much worse. If you turn down or insult a customer, you have got 250 dis satisfied people about your sale talents. So it’s my advice not to turn down ANY customer.
