My New Wife :) Compaq Presario 3715AU

you can take alook on it now 
I manage to dual boot this Laptop with Ubuntu 7.10 + Win XP Sp2 , but currently for ubuntu i still looking for graphic card driver since its based on Nvidia Geforce 7000, its quite hard for me to look for proper driver and ubuntu i have around 5 or 6 driver still unknown. T_T , for windows XP its more complicated. Since this laptop without OS, i need to lurking around the web for proper driver, and all is working Perfectly except my ear phone jack, when i insert my earphone on my laptop i can hear the sound from my earphone + speakers!!. haha.. its quite annoying at first but maybe because this laptop is not designed to fit winxp. Btw i will try to install Windows Vista on it, and will report any progress regarding this laptop

Hi Dude, i’ve bought the same laptop with you weeks ago. New model thou, running under AMD Turion X2 processor. I’ve send t o HP service centre for the installation, and it only support Vista.
After all the installation, still 1 more unknown devices remains.
Do look forward for your post for the XP driver.

Yup dude, please accept my late condolense to u.
Uhm, internet services at my place been down for few days.
The details is ACPI/HPQ0007 , exactly same with your screenshot posted.
Thanks for the link, kind of frust with the lappy driver.
And i just found out it consume much much more electricity compared to Intel’s model.

*rgarding electricity consume i also notice that if i play pc game (Warcraft) on my laptop its cant stand longer then 1 1/2 hour. if in daily usage it can stand more then 2hour.
*may i know if your earphone and mic can work properly?
